Local Authorities have a duty to assess the needs of, for example, the elderly or people with a mental or physical disability and may have to provide services ( such as a home help or occupational therapy) or accommodation (which could be residential or a nursing home).

The rules relating to payment of services or accommodation are complex.

We can help you if you or a family member are not getting the services or accommodation which you need or if you feel that you are being asked to pay too much.

In January 06 we represented a client who was successful in her challenge of her of a decision by Bexley NHS Trust that she was not entitled to full NHS funding.
